Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 2026

These terms set out the arrangement between Rian Ru ("we", "us") and you ("the learner") when you enrol in one of our programs. Please read them at your own pace before confirming an enrolment. If anything is unclear, we are glad to explain further — simply reach out before you proceed.

1. Who We Are

Rian Ru is an AI development online school based at 18 Nimmanhaemin Road, Suthep, Chiang Mai 50200, Thailand. You can contact us at [email protected] or by phone at +66 53 226 850.

2. Programs Available

We currently offer three programs:

  • First Steps in AI — an introductory program covering programming basics and core machine-learning ideas through small, friendly projects (฿3,600).
  • Hands-On Machine Learning — an intermediate program centred on practical model building and data work with mentor guidance (฿5,700).
  • Complete AI Developer Program — a thorough program spanning development, evaluation, and deployment practices with a guided capstone project (฿7,900).

Program content, duration, and schedule details are described on our Solutions page and in the welcome materials we send after enrolment. We may adjust content in minor ways to keep programs current and useful, and we will communicate meaningful changes to enrolled learners in advance.

3. Enrolment

Enrolment is confirmed when we receive your completed enrolment request and the applicable program fee. By enrolling, you confirm that:

  • You are 18 years of age or older, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
  • The information you provide during enrolment is accurate and complete.
  • You have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to decline an enrolment request at our discretion. If we do so, any payment received will be returned in full.

4. Fees and Payment

Program fees are stated in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of all course materials. Fees are due in full at the time of enrolment unless we have agreed a different arrangement with you in writing.

  • Fees do not include any device, software, or internet connection costs on your side.
  • We will send a receipt or tax invoice on request.
  • Prices may change for future cohorts. Any change will not affect an enrolment already confirmed.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation terms are as follows:

  • Before the program begins: You may cancel at any time before your program start date and receive a full refund. Please notify us by email to [email protected].
  • Within the first seven days of a program: If you have begun but decide the program is not right for you within the first seven calendar days, please contact us. We will discuss your situation and consider a partial refund on a case-by-case basis.
  • After seven days: Fees are generally non-refundable once more than seven days of active program access have passed. If exceptional circumstances apply, please reach out and we will consider your case with care.

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 14 working days using the original payment method.

6. Program Access and Materials

Upon confirmed enrolment you will receive access to program materials for the duration specified in your program details. Materials are for your personal study use only.

  • You may not share, sell, redistribute, or reproduce program materials without our written permission.
  • Where access to recorded sessions or written materials is provided after the program concludes, the duration of that access will be set out in your welcome materials.
  • We may occasionally need to interrupt access for maintenance. We will give advance notice where possible and keep disruption to a minimum.

7. Learner Conduct

We aim to keep our learning environment respectful and supportive for everyone. When participating in any group sessions, forums, or shared spaces, we ask that you:

  • Treat fellow learners and instructors with courtesy.
  • Refrain from sharing others' personal information without their consent.
  • Use what you learn responsibly and in accordance with applicable law.
  • Avoid uploading or sharing materials that are unlawful, offensive, or infringing.

If conduct becomes a concern, we will speak with you privately first. In serious cases we reserve the right to suspend or end access to programs, with or without a partial refund at our discretion.

8. Intellectual Property

All program content — including written materials, exercises, slides, code examples, and recordings — is owned by Rian Ru or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. Enrolment grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use this content for your own study. This licence does not permit commercial use, redistribution, or the creation of derivative works based on our materials.

Work you create yourself during the program — such as your own code, projects, and exercises — remains yours. We may request permission to use anonymised examples of learner work for teaching purposes, and will always ask first.

9. Disclaimers

We put genuine care into our programs and aim to support your learning. At the same time, we want to be straightforward:

  • Outcomes vary between learners. Progress depends on your own effort, pace, and prior experience. We do not promise specific employment, salary, or career results.
  • Program materials are provided for educational purposes. They may not reflect the most recent developments in a field that changes frequently. We keep materials as current as is reasonable, but cannot warrant their completeness or fitness for any particular professional purpose.
  • Our website and platforms are provided as-is. We take care to keep them reliable, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Thai law, Rian Ru's total liability for any claim arising from enrolment or use of our programs shall not exceed the fee paid by you for the relevant program. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including loss of income, loss of data, or loss of business opportunity.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or any other matter where limitation is not permitted by law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. If we do, we will update the "last updated" date above and, where changes are material, notify enrolled learners by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued enrolment or use of our programs after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If a change is not acceptable to you, please contact us — we are glad to discuss your situation.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Chiang Mai, Thailand, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
